You have a lot of choices when it comes to buying pet products; there are the big box stores, local pet stores, massive online vendors, and a good amount of pop-up internet vendors. We may all sell similar products, so how do you decide where to spend your money? The answer is simple; you purchase from the store you trust, that has the product you want, at the right price. How do you know who to trust?
That can be difficult. Let me tell you a little about us, and what makes us different. We are a family-owned store based in a small town in Ohio. We started the business because we saw such a high amount of abuse in the e-commerce world; stores importing inferior, and in some cases unsafe, pet products and selling them at outrageous markups. Stores who only focus on profit, regardless of who they are hurting. We knew that we could do better. We hand-select every product we sell. We are proud to offer one of the largest selections of collars, pet apparel, and accessories that is exclusively made right here in the USA. There is no need to worry about lead and other toxins harming your pet, and you cannot beat the level of comfort, quality, and durability of these products with any import.
We don't have the resources of the giants, but that is okay because what we do have is our integrity, the drive to constantly improve, and the desire to make sure that we take care of every customer on our website the way we would if they were standing across from us. We treat everyone like family. We are not in the business to make a quick buck; we are doing this because it is our passion. We want to treat you so well, and have you be so thrilled with your shopping experience, that you tell everyone you know. And we promise to go above and beyond for them as well. That is part of what we call, "The Better Pets Today Difference". It includes things like fast shipping, great products priced right, a multitude of payment options, and extended customer service hours.
We have a few fundamental principles that guide our business. First, we are highly respectful. We respect everyone and this will be clear in any conversations you may engage in with us. We don't believe the customer is always right (WHAT?), but they are still our customer, and we will always work tirelessly to ensure they have a great experience. We also are not always right. We make mistakes just like anyone else. We don't believe absolute perfection is a realistic goal (we still try really hard to achieve it!), but there is art in the recovery. What that means is when we do make a mistake, every person here is empowered to do whatever it takes to make it right to YOUR satisfaction, not ours.
And a final note, we believe in paying it forward. We dedicate at minimum 10% of our store profits to pet charities. A small amount goes towards sponsoring events through product donations, but the bulk of our donations are dedicated to sponsoring assistance dogs for those in need. We have the great fortune of serving those who choose to purchase our products, and we feel it is our duty to bless those in our country who rely on these dogs to live a normal and fulfilling life. Our customers are the ones who make that possible and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
